The IcyDock MB873MP-B fits eight M.2 NVMe SSDs into one 5.25-inch bay. Instead of mounting M.2 modules flat on the motherboard - where they are hard to reach and hard to cool - it turns them into eight front-accessible trays so drives can be replaced without dismantling the system.
It is aimed at builders who want dense NVMe capacity from commodity M.2 drives and need serviceability: the drives stay individually removable and each one can be swapped as a unit when it is upgraded or fails.
