Overview
Symmetra LX is a chassis you buy once and grow into. Power capacity arrives as 2 kVA and 4 kVA power modules (SYPM2KU, SYPM4KU) that slide into the same frame, so a 4 kVA SYA4K8P can become a 16 kVA SYA16K16P without a rip-and-replace.
Redundancy is the point of the design. Because power and battery modules are hot-swappable and configured N+1, a failed module is pulled and replaced while the critical load stays on line. That matters for AI and edge racks where the compute node in question has a single inlet and cannot tolerate a transfer.
The family splits cleanly into tower chassis (SYA4K8P through SYA16K16P), rack-mount chassis (SYA8K8RMP through SYA16K16RMP), and extended-run tower models (SYA8K16PXR and up) that accept external battery cabinets for longer runtime at full load.
