Overview
The Vision Datum iCt90M/CG50A-Pro is a newly upgraded 5 MP GigE Vision area scan camera built on the Sony IMX264 global-shutter sensor. At 36 fps in 2/3-inch optical format it suits general industrial inspection where blur-free capture and GigE cabling reach are the priorities.
Sony's IMX264 is one of the most widely deployed 5 MP global-shutter sensors in machine vision, and 5 MP is the sweet spot for many inspection tasks — enough resolution for part and pack verification without the bandwidth cost of higher pixel counts.
Vision Datum offers the camera in mono and colour versions alongside a 1.6 MP IMX273 motion-analysis model (iCt90MG16A-Pro) for higher-frame-rate capture.
GigE Vision remains the default industrial camera interface thanks to its 100 m cable reach over standard Ethernet and GenICam compliance, making these cameras straightforward to integrate into existing vision systems.
Key Benefits
Widely proven 5 MP IMX264 global shutter over standard GigE. 36 fps, 100 m cabling reach and GenICam compliance make it a low-risk drop-in for industrial inspection stations.
Applications
Industrial part and pack inspection; motion analysis; general machine vision and robotic guidance; multi-camera GigE Vision systems.
