Overview
Specim's FX series brings hyperspectral imaging to the factory floor in a compact, fast line-scan form factor. The Specim FX10 covers the 400–1000 nm VNIR range, the FX17 the 900–1700 nm NIR range, and the new FX19 adds high-speed extended-NIR imaging announced in 2026.
Each camera streams calibrated spectral data at production-line speed, so material classification runs in real time on food, plastics, minerals and pharmaceutical products.
Key Benefits
Real-time spectral classification, a compact industrial form factor that fits existing lines, and a single-vendor VNIR/NIR/extended-NIR ladder so one platform scales across applications.
Applications
Food quality and safety sorting, plastics and textile recycling, mineral and pharma inspection, and process control requiring chemical/material discrimination.
