Overview
Luxima Technology's LUX family of CMOS digital image sensors pairs a global shutter with very high frame rates, reaching 1,000 fps or more at full resolution. The LUX1310 delivers 1.3 MP (1280 x 1024) at 1,070 fps with a 1 µs minimum global shutter, making it a mainstay of high-speed machine vision and scientific imaging.
The LUX2100 raises resolution to 2.1 MP (1952 x 1096) at 1,000 fps in a 4/3-inch optical format, while the LUX9512 offers a 9.5 MP sensor at 1,332 fps targeted at 3D scanning and intraoral scanning. All are 12-bit CMOS sensors with LVDS output, and an LUX1310 evaluation system is available for rapid prototyping.
Key Benefits
1,000+ fps at full resolution freezes fast motion without windowing; true global shutter eliminates rolling-shutter distortion in 3D and metrology; 12-bit LVDS output integrates with standard vision pipelines.
Applications
High-speed machine vision; 3D scanning and structured light; intraoral and medical scanning; scientific and motion-capture imaging; industrial inspection of fast-moving product.
