Overview
The boA5120-230cm is the highest-frame-rate member of the Basler boost R CXP-12 family. A Gpixel GSPRINT4521 sensor delivers 5120 × 4096 pixels at 230 fps — 21 MP at 230 frames per second is roughly 4.6 gigapixels per second, which is why the camera needs a CXP-12 link rather than GigE.
The 4.50 µm pixel is the other half of the story: larger pixels collect more light, so the 230 fps operating point can be reached with practical exposure times and ordinary lighting, rather than a strobing laser that would limit the application.
