Overview
The Basler boost R boA5120-150cm puts a square 5120 × 5120 (26.2 MP) Gpixel GMAX0505 global-shutter sensor behind a CXP-12 interface and drives it at 150 fps. The square aspect ratio is deliberate: round and square workpieces — wafers, dies, lenses, moulded parts, display cells — fill the sensor exactly, so no field of view is wasted on unused rectangle corners.
2.50 µm pixels over a 1.1-inch optical format give a fine enough sampling pitch for defect detection at single-micron feature scale, while the 150 fps rate keeps the camera from becoming the throughput bottleneck.
QS Compute supplies the boA5120-150cm and the rest of the Basler boost R CXP-12 range with matched frame grabbers, CXP cables and optics.
Key Benefits
Square 26.2 MP sensor — full field of view on round and square parts; 150 fps at CXP-12 keeps high-resolution inspection inline rather than at end-of-line; 2.50 µm pixels resolve single-micron-class defects; global shutter avoids smear on moving webs and rotating parts.
Applications
Semiconductor wafer and die inspection; flat-panel and micro-LED display inspection; precision mechanical metrology; optical component and lens inspection; large-area print and PCB verification; high-resolution 3D and photogrammetry rigs.
