The Basler ace 2 a2A1920-51gcIP67 is the IP-rated member of the ace 2 R family. With the lens housing and cable fitted it holds IP65/IP67 — dust-tight and protected against water ingress — so it can be mounted directly on a washdown line, in a flour or cement atmosphere, or outdoors, without the extra cost and optical compromise of a secondary enclosure.
Internally it is a standard 2.3 MP Sony IMX392 GigE camera running at 51 fps, so the application software, resolution and bandwidth profile are identical to the un-housed ace 2 equivalent. That matters at commissioning: a sealed camera that behaves like the rest of the fleet keeps one toolchain and one set of calibration procedures.
