Use Case

The nVent RackChiller Rear Door Cooler (RDC) is an in-row passive liquid-to-air heat exchanger designed for high-density server racks in AI and HPC data centers. Mounted directly to the rear of a 42U rack, it captures exhaust heat from servers without adding airflow resistance — zero impact on server fan performance. With 30–60 kW cooling capacity per rack, it supplements direct-to-chip liquid cooling (DLC) to neutralize 100% of rack heat or handles residual heat in hybrid cooling deployments.
