Overview
The NEXCOM ATC 3561-NA4C is a rugged in-vehicle and railway edge AI computer built on the NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano system-on-module. NEXCOM's thermal design holds up to 67 INT8 Sparse TOPS in Super Mode even without a fan, so real-time inference keeps running in a sealed, palm-sized enclosure rather than needing active cooling and a filtered air path.
Connectivity is specified for mobile sensor fusion rather than office networking: four GbE PoE ports power and receive from long-run IP cameras and LiDAR sensors over one cable, an isolated CAN FD bus at 2.5KV handles vehicle and actuator traffic up to 5Mb/s, and RS-232 plus a console port cover legacy vehicle interfaces. A wide 9V to 36V DC input with ignition control and 24V rail support covers 12V and 24V vehicle classes, and antenna positions are provided for GNSS, up to four LTE/5G modules and two WiFi 5/6 modules.
Durability and certification are quoted explicitly: an operating range of -25C to 60C fanless (or 65C with the fan kit), -40C to 85C storage, 10% to 95% non-condensing humidity, MIL-STD-810H shock and vibration compliance, and CE/FCC Class A, UKCA and E-mark approval. NEXCOM ships its NEXCOM Acceleration Linux (NAL) image with JetPack 6.2 integrated, and positions the unit for ADAS, automatic number-plate recognition, autonomous mobile robots and railway safety systems.
Key Benefits
Up to 67 TOPS of Jetson Orin Nano inference in a sealed palm-size chassis, four PoE ports powering cameras and LiDAR without separate injectors, isolated CAN FD plus RS-232 and DI/DO for direct vehicle integration, a 9-36V/24V input with ignition control, MIL-STD-810H shock and vibration plus E-mark approval, and a JetPack 6.2 based NAL software image out of the box.
Applications
Advanced driver-assistance systems, automatic number-plate recognition, autonomous mobile robots, intelligent transportation and roadside systems, railway safety and monitoring, construction and mining vehicle AI, and mobile surveillance platforms.
