Overview
The Curtiss-Wright DuraCOR 9010 is a rugged commercial-off-the-shelf mission computer that packages NVIDIA's IGX Thor accelerated computing platform into a conduction-cooled, sub-10 lb small form factor system. It exists because defence and aerospace programmes increasingly need data-centre-class inference on the platform itself — for sensor fusion, machine-learning target recognition and real-time decision support — in environments where there is no reliable backhaul and no tolerance for a fan or an air path through the electronics.
The specification is workstation-class: a 14-core Arm Neoverse CPU at up to 2.6 GHz, a Blackwell GPU with 2,560 CUDA cores and 96 Tensor Cores delivering up to 2,070 FP4 sparse TFLOPS, and 128 GB of LPDDR5 at 273 GB/s. Around that sit 2x 10GBASE-T and 2x 1000BASE-T Ethernet and mission I/O covering MIL-STD-1553, ARINC-429, TSN, SDI and GMSL, with Modular Application Personality Modules to add programme-specific interfaces without a redesign. Storage capacity and compute power profiles are configurable per programme.
Qualification is where the product earns its place: MIL-STD-810G for environmental extremes, MIL-STD-461 for EMI/EMC and DO-160 for airborne use, all in a conduction-cooled single-slot SFFS envelope. Curtiss-Wright builds it under a modular open systems approach aligned with SOSA, CMOSS, VICTORY and FACE so that programmes are not locked to a proprietary I/O stack. Key Benefits
Data-centre AI in a deployed form factor. 2,070 FP4 sparse TFLOPS with 128 GB LPDDR5 inside 200 cubic inches and under 10 lb. Qualified, not claimed. MIL-STD-810G, MIL-STD-461 and DO-160. Conduction cooled. No fans and no air over electronics, for dust, altitude and reliability. Mission I/O without redesign. 1553, ARINC-429, TSN, SDI, GMSL and Modular Application Personality Modules under a MOSA/SOSA approach.
Applications
Autonomous and unmanned systems, ISR and multi-sensor fusion payloads, electronic warfare and spectrum monitoring, tactical edge AI and sensor processing, airborne, ground-vehicle and maritime mission computing, real-time command-and-control systems, and any SWaP-constrained platform operating in disconnected or contested environments.
