Overview
Elma Electronic builds deployable AI computing platforms for environments where commercial systems will not survive. Its JetSys and JetKit families package the NVIDIA Jetson SoM line inside rugged enclosures qualified for extended temperatures, high shock and vibration, and ingress protection against water, sand, dust, salt, fog and chemical contaminants.
The JetSys-5330 is the flagship: an NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin platform delivering up to 275 TOPS and 5.3 FP32 TFLOPS in a small-footprint enclosure that is qualified to IP67 and to military standards including MIL-STD-810G, MIL-HDBK-704F and MIL-STD-1275D. It carries up to 2048 CUDA cores and up to 64 Tensor Cores over 32 GB or 64 GB of DRAM at 204 GB/s, with a door-accessible bay for two removable 2.5" SSDs.
Sensor integration is a strength of the family. The JetSys-5330 accepts up to six GMSL2/GMSL1 cameras or three HD-SDI feeds, with optional PoE 1000BASE-T ports for Ethernet cameras, and supports 10GBASE-T plus WiFi or 4G/5G LTE for backhaul. The JetSys-2010 brings the same ruggedized philosophy to Jetson Orin NX, the JetSys-5320 targets the compact TX2i module, and the JetKit-3010 provides an open-standards CompactPCI Serial route for programmes that mandate a VPX/SOSA-style architecture.
Key Benefits
Proven ruggedization with IP67 sealing and MIL-STD-810G/1275D qualification; high AI density at 275 TOPS and 5.3 FP32 TFLOPS per unit; real-world sensor fusion for up to six GMSL2 cameras plus PoE Ethernet cameras; serviceability in the field with two removable SSD bays; and four platform tiers covering Orin, Orin NX, TX2i and AGX Xavier so one vendor can scale across an entire vehicle or plant fleet.
Applications
Autonomous and semi-autonomous agricultural, construction, forestry and mining vehicles; defence and military vehicle payloads; shuttles and robo-taxis; trucking and delivery fleet AI; factory automation and robotics; real-time object detection and recognition; sensor fusion; and SLAM for navigation.
