Overview
AVerMedia's AVerAI line covers the board level of Jetson-based vision systems: carrier boards, single-board computers, box PCs and engineering kits for the AGX Thor, AGX Orin, Orin NX and Orin Nano module families. The D315-2 is its AGX Orin carrier, built for deployments where machine vision, not general purpose computing, sets the interface list.
The board's defining feature is a 120-pin high-speed connector for MIPI SerDes cameras supporting GMSL2, FPD-Link III and V-by-One HS — the interface used by automotive and AMR camera stacks — backed by an optional GMSL board that carries eight cameras over mini-FAKRA cabling. Alongside it sit 1 GbE and 10G RJ-45 ports for streaming IP camera feeds, a dedicated 10GigE Vision camera connector for inspection rigs, and a PCIe x16 slot (eight lanes) for further capture or acceleration.
Everything else is industrial by default: a DC 12-54 V input, -40 C to 85 C operation, CAN bus with transceiver, TPM-grade deployment options through the ERMI out-of-band management module, and an M.2 M key slot that accepts either an SSD or one of AVerMedia's own M.2 frame grabbers — the 4Kp30 HDMI CN311-H or the dual-channel 2K SDI/HDMI CN312MW and CN312SW. AVerMedia also ships D331 and D331ATB carriers for the newer Jetson AGX Thor generation with the same GMSL camera path, and its BSP stack covers Thor T5000/T4000 alongside the Orin family.
