Overview
Forecr's Thor carrier boards exist because the Jetson AGX Thor module alone is not a product — it needs a carrier that exposes its I/O, feeds it power and survives the target environment. The DSBOARD-THRMAX is the compact development-and-deployment option: a 140 x 125 mm board supporting both the Jetson T5000 and T4000 modules and delivering up to 2070 FP4 TFLOPS of sparse AI compute with a 128 GB LPDDR5X memory interface.
I/O is unusually complete for the footprint. The board exposes dual HDMI 2.1 and dual DisplayPort 1.4a, QSFP+ and USB 3.2, two M.2 Key-M sockets for PCIe Gen4 NVMe storage (2280 and 2242), an M.2 Key-B for cellular with nanoSIM, and an M.2 Key-E for Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. A dedicated camera expansion connector supports either six 2-lane or four 4-lane camera links, and a breakout header carries I2C, I2S, SPI, two UARTs, two PWMs and two CAN-FD channels for robotics control integration. Power input spans 18-36 VDC, and real-time thermal monitoring is built in. Units are manufactured in Europe.
For deployments that must survive shock, vibration and temperature extremes, MILBOARD-THR is a ruggedized carrier that supports both NVIDIA Jetson AGX Thor and IGX Thor — the latter being NVIDIA's industrial-grade platform line for applications with functional-safety and longevity requirements. Customers wanting a finished enclosure rather than a carrier can step up to Forecr's DSBOX-THRMAX industrial box PC on the same platform.
Key Benefits
Complete Thor integration — up to 2070 FP4 TFLOPS and 128 GB of LPDDR5X with dual HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4a, QSFP+, USB 3.2, dual NVMe M.2 and full 5G/Wi-Fi expansion. Multi-camera ready with six 2-lane or four 4-lane camera links and two CAN-FD channels, plus a ruggedized MILBOARD-THR variant covering both AGX Thor and IGX Thor.
Applications
Humanoid and mobile robotics, autonomous machines and AMRs, multi-camera perception and sensor fusion, physical AI development, transportation-grade vision systems, and MIL-spec field deployments that need shock and vibration tolerance.
