Overview
The Aetina DeviceEdge Mini Series answers a specific problem: AI projects that work in a lab but cannot be deployed because there is no space, no mains power budget and no tolerance for a fan. Four systems split across two form factors — palm-sized fanless units (AIE-CO23/33-S1, AIE-CN33/43-A1) at 132 x 91.5 x 68.5 mm, and slim units (AIB-MO23/33-S1, AIB-MN33/43-S1) at 127 x 85.75 x 28.45 mm.
Compute comes from NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano with Super Mode in the palm-sized models and Jetson Orin NX in the slim models, reaching up to 100 TOPS and 157 TOPS respectively. Camera support is matched to the enclosure: dual PoE on the palm-sized systems for IP-camera deployments, and a choice of dual MIPI or PoE on the slim units for direct sensor attachment.
Deployment credentials matter as much as the silicon. All four run on 12-24 VDC across -25 to +55 °C with fanless thermal design, carry built-in NVMe storage, and take LTE, 4G/5G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth through M.2 expansion. They ship JetPack 6.2-compatible with Aetina's BSP customisation services, and the series has been demonstrated running lightweight vision-language models that fuse live video with natural-language prompts for inspection and security monitoring.
