Overview
The Intel X550-T2 is the compact copper 10G option: two 10GBASE-T ports on a PCIe 3.0 x4 electrical interface, so it fits half-width, 1U and workstation chassis where an x8 slot is not available.
It carries the same virtualization feature set as the fibre 700 Series (SR-IOV, VMDq) with hardware iSCSI and FCoE initiators, making it a practical single-card answer for a copper-only 10G build.
