Use Case
E2000 is deployed where the cloud provider wants to stop paying host cores for infrastructure: the IPU terminates the tenant overlay, runs the storage front-end and enforces isolation, so the x86 socket is left entirely to the customer workload. The hardware VirtIO path means the guest sees a standard virtio-net/virtio-blk device, which is why it can be introduced into an existing fleet without changing guest images.
