Overview
The Hioki BT3554 is a portable battery tester that measures the AC resistance (impedance), DC voltage and temperature of standby batteries. It covers 3 mΩ to 3 Ω over four ranges with 1 µΩ resolution on the lowest range and ±0.8% rdg ±6 dgt accuracy, and ±6 V to ±60 V over two voltage ranges.
A 1 kHz ±30 Hz test signal is used, with a noise-frequency avoidance function that widens the tolerance to ±80 Hz where the local mains frequency interferes. The built-in comparator judges two resistance levels and one voltage level against 200 user setting tables, and results can be logged over USB or streamed wirelessly on the Bluetooth-equipped versions.
