Overview
The Cornelis CN6000 is an 800 Gbps SuperNIC built on a 16-way PCIe 6.0 bus, offering multi-protocol support across Omni-Path, RoCEv2 and Ultra Ethernet. It ships as a family alongside a 48-port Omni-Path switch and a libfabric-based software stack that is compatible with AMD ROCm.
Aimed at disaggregated AI inference, large-scale training and HPC simulation, the CN6000 is the centrepiece of Cornelis' reference architecture with AMD 6th Gen EPYC processors and Instinct MI400-series GPUs. It samples with customers now, with expanded availability expected in Q4 2026, and a 1.6 Tbps CN7000 family follows in 2027.
Key Benefits
800 Gbps per NIC on a PCIe 6.0 host interface; multi-protocol Omni-Path / RoCEv2 / Ultra Ethernet support avoids single-vendor lock-in; libfabric + ROCm software stack accelerates collective communication for AI training and inference.
Applications
Scale-out AI training and inference fabrics, HPC clusters, disaggregated prefill/decode inference, MoE expert routing and large-scale GPU collective operations.
