Overview
The Advantech AOM-5721 is a SMARC 2.2 computer-on-module built on the Qualcomm QCS6490 / QCS5430 platform. It combines an eight-core Kryo 670 CPU running up to 2.7 GHz with an Adreno 643 GPU at 812 MHz and an Adreno 633 video processing unit for ultra-HD encode and decode.
That combination — strong general compute, a capable GPU and hardware video — makes it a natural fit for edge AI video analytics, multi-camera vision front-ends and rich HMI products where the module supplies compute and the carrier supplies the interfaces.
Key Benefits
Strong CPU plus GPU. Octa-core Kryo 670 to 2.7 GHz with Adreno 643. Hardware video. Adreno 633 VPU for ultra-HD encode/decode. Standard SMARC 2.2. Widely supported module interface with a broad carrier ecosystem.
Applications
Edge AI video analytics, multi-camera machine vision, interactive HMI and digital signage built on a SMARC 2.2 carrier.
