Overview
The ALINX AX7035B is an industrial-grade development kit built around the AMD Artix-7 XC7A35T FPGA. It pairs 256 MB of DDR3 with 16 MB of QSPI configuration flash, and includes both HDMI input and HDMI output so a design can capture and display video without an external capture card.
Gigabit Ethernet covers host and network connectivity, while an FPC expansion port and two 40-pin headers provide the usual mix of high-density and low-cost expansion. ALINX positions the kit for data acquisition, digital signal processing and image-processing designs where Artix-7 density is enough and a lower-power, lower-cost device is preferable to a larger Kintex or UltraScale part.
Key Benefits
HDMI input and output on board makes video-processing development a cable-away task. 256 MB DDR3 plus 16 MB QSPI gives real frame buffers and self-contained boot. Gigabit Ethernet supports networked acquisition and remote control. FPC plus dual 40-pin headers accept standard camera and peripheral modules.
Applications
Video and image-processing development, digital signal processing, data-acquisition fixtures, medical endoscopy and inspection cameras, industrial vision prototypes, and FPGA teaching labs.
