The Samsung BM1743 is a QLC (quad-level-cell) data-centre NVMe SSD engineered for read-heavy AI data lakes, video archives, backup targets and capacity-tier storage, where the priority is bytes per rack unit rather than write endurance. The 176-layer 7th-gen QLC V-NAND stack puts 30.72TB in a standard 2.5-inch U.2 drive and scales to 61.44TB in the same form factor.
