The Micron 7600 NVMe SSD is a mainstream PCIe Gen5 data center drive built on Micron's vertically integrated architecture — including the industry's first 9th-generation (G9) TLC NAND used in a data center SSD. It delivers 12,000 MB/s sequential read and up to 7,000 MB/s sequential write throughput with best-in-class low latency (75 µs read / 15 µs write), positioning it for AI and data-intensive workloads where responsiveness and energy efficiency matter more than raw peak throughput.
Available in two endurance tiers — the 7600 PRO (1 DWPD, 1.92TB–15.36TB) for read-centric and mixed workloads, and the 7600 MAX (3 DWPD, 1.6TB–12.8TB) for write-intensive applications — across E1.S (9.5/15mm), U.2 (15mm), and E3.S 1T (7.5mm) form factors. The drive draws 15.5W on sequential read and 18.3W on sequential write, carries a 5-year warranty with 2.0M-hour MTTF, and supports broad OCP standards plus FIPS 140-3 Level 2 and TAA compliance for regulated deployments. It slots below the higher-capacity Micron 9550 (Gen5, up to 30.72TB) and the Gen6 Micron 9650 in the enterprise portfolio.
