The Micron 6500 ION is Micron's 30.72TB U.3 NVMe SSD built for bulk cloud storage, object stores, AI/ML data lakes, and capacity tiers. It outperforms 30.72TB QLC competitors with 34% better read latency, 58% faster sequential writes, and over 30x more 4KB random write IOPS.

The 6500 ION helps reduce server count and rack space through chassis consolidation, lowering power, cooling, and software licensing costs. It is available with standard and SED (TCG Opal 2.01, SHA-512) security configurations, including TAA-compliant SKUs.
