Overview

The Queclink WR310 is a compact, cost-optimised 5G industrial cellular router — effectively the volume-market sibling of the 2023 WR300, trading some memory and storage for a smaller footprint and a lower unit price. It keeps the parts that matter to an integrator: 5G NR in both Standalone and Non-Standalone modes, Wi-Fi 6, four Gigabit Ethernet ports, and a terminal block that exposes RS-232 and RS-485 next to an 8–32 V DC input.

The radio is built around a Qualcomm dual-core Cortex-A53 at 1.0 GHz with 256 MB of DDR4. Wi-Fi 6 runs at up to 2475 Mbps on the 5 GHz band and 591 Mbps on 2.4 GHz with MU-MIMO, and can operate as an access point or as a station for WAN backhaul. Three regional SKUs cover the band plans: WR310FEU for EMEA, APAC and Brazil, WR310FAU for LATAM, and WR310FNA for North America.

The industrial case for it is the combination of the wide 8–32 V DC input, a serial terminal block and four GbE ports on a single 5G device. That lets it act as the cellular edge router for a machine cell or a transport asset, carrying LAN traffic, legacy serial equipment and a Wi-Fi 6 client network over one 5G link, with GNSS available for position reporting on mobile installations.

Key Benefits

Four Gigabit ports on a 5G router. Enough wired capacity for a machine cell or vehicle network without a downstream switch. Wi-Fi 6 with real throughput. 2475 Mbps on 5 GHz with MU-MIMO, usable in AP or STA mode. Wide 8–32 V DC input. Runs directly from 12 V and 24 V industrial and vehicle rails without a converter. Serial built in. RS-232 and RS-485 on a terminal block for legacy PLC, meter and controller integration. Three regional SKUs. Certified band plans for EMEA/APAC/Brazil, LATAM and North America.

Applications

Smart manufacturing and factory-floor cellular backhaul, industrial IoT aggregation, transportation and fleet connectivity, energy and utility substation networking, retail and branch connectivity, remote video and telemetry sites, mobile and vehicle-mounted networks.
