Overview
The Moxa UC-8220-T-LX extends the Arm-based UC-8200 platform with built-in LTE Cat.4 cellular connectivity and dual SIM slots, plus a mini-PCIe slot for a Wi-Fi module. It is built on the same Armv7 Cortex-A7 dual-core 1 GHz processor with 2 GB DDR3L and 8 GB eMMC, running Moxa Industrial Linux with ten-year support.
Interface and ruggedness match the UC-8210: two Ethernet ports, two RS-232/422/485 serial ports, one CAN 2.0 A/B port and 4 DI / 4 DO. The LTE models carry Verizon and AT&T certification and regional band variants (-US-S / -EU-S / -AP-S), with operation from -40 to 70 C, redundant 12-48 VDC inputs and DIN-rail mounting, suiting remote cellular IIoT and telemetry deployments.
Key Benefits
Armv7 Cortex-A7 dual-core 1 GHz · built-in LTE Cat.4 with dual SIM · mini-PCIe Wi-Fi · 2 LAN + 2 serial + CAN + 4DI/4DO · -40 to 70 C · IEC 62443-4-2 SL2.
Applications
Remote and distributed cellular IIoT data acquisition, fleet and asset telemetry, energy-monitoring gateways where wired backhaul is unavailable, and secure field gateways with LTE or Wi-Fi backhaul.
