Overview
The Moxa UC-8210-T-LX is an Arm-based industrial IIoT edge gateway built around an Armv7 Cortex-A7 dual-core 1 GHz processor, with 2 GB of DDR3L DRAM, 8 GB of pre-installed eMMC storage and a microSD socket for expansion. It runs Moxa Industrial Linux with ten-year long-term support.
The unit provides two 10/100Base-TX Ethernet ports, two software-selectable RS-232/422/485 serial ports, one CAN 2.0 A/B port and four digital inputs plus four digital outputs, all in a DIN-rail housing rated for -40 to 85 C and hazardous-location use (Class I Division 2 / ATEX Zone 2 / IECEx). The -S variant adds TPM 2.0, and the family is IEC 62443-4-2 Security Level 2 certified for secure IIoT deployments.
