Overview
The Moxa UC-8580 Series is a fanless Arm Cortex-A7 dual-core 1 GHz computing platform designed specifically for rolling-stock and transportation applications. It provides up to four Mini PCIe expansion slots for cellular and Wi-Fi modules (with 2 SIM slots per cellular slot), dual M12 Gigabit Ethernet ports, one USB 3.0 host and an mSATA storage slot.
The computer runs from an isolated 24-110 VDC input with a power-ignition function suited to vehicle use, and complies with all EN 50155 mandatory test items plus EN 50121-4, EN 45545 and NFPA 130. Wide-temperature -40 to +70 C models (EN 50155 Class Tx) and conformal-coated -CT variants are available, in a 220 x 134 x 88 mm wall-mount chassis.
Key Benefits
EN 50155 rail-certified · Arm Cortex-A7 dual 1 GHz · up to 4 Mini PCIe wireless slots · 2 M12 GbE · isolated 24-110 VDC · -40 to +70 C · conformal-coating option.
