Overview
The oToAdapter developer kits from oToBrite exist to remove the hardest part of building a multi-camera Jetson vision platform: getting synchronized GMSL2 streams into the module and driving them from software. Each kit pairs an automotive-grade GMSL2 camera adapter with an NVIDIA Jetson Developer Kit and ships with pre-packaged JetPack 6.2 plus sensor drivers, so the cameras enumerate and stream without a custom driver bring-up project.
Two kits cover the Jetson tiers. The oToAdapter-GMSL-AGX-Orin targets the NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin Developer Kit and supports up to eight GMSL2 cameras over FAKRA connectors for up to 275 TOPS of AI performance, using the ADI/Maxim MAX96724 deserializer and a 120-pin high-speed ground plane connector to the Orin board. The oToAdapter-GMSL-Orin-Nano supports up to four GMSL2 cameras on the NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano for up to 67 TOPS, giving a lower-cost entry point for mobile robots and pilot deployments.
Frame synchronization is available either from external input signals or internal GPIO, which is what makes multi-camera stereo and surround perception deterministic rather than best-effort. The AGX kit bundles the developer kit, two 0.4 m GMSL Mini Fakra 1-to-4 cables and a 90-264 VAC power adapter in a 156.2 x 114.2 x 94.1 mm enclosure weighing 1,245 g. A board-only variant (oToAdapter-GMSL-AGX-Orin-Board) is available for teams that already own the Jetson Developer Kit, and every kit works with the complete oToBrite GMSL camera module range.
