Overview
The RDK S600 is the high end of D-Robotics' robot development kit line. It delivers 560 TOPS of on-device inference from an 18-core Arm Cortex-A78AE processor cluster and, unlike a general-purpose compute module, keeps CPU, NPU and real-time control unified on a single SoC in the same computation-control integrated architecture as the smaller RDK S100.
I/O is sized for multi-sensor robotics: six MIPI camera inputs for surround perception, six USB 3.0 ports and four PCIe 3.0 interfaces for lidar, GMSL expansion and additional accelerators. That combination suits humanoids, AMRs and robotic arms where several high-resolution streams have to be fused in real time on the robot rather than in the cloud.
D-Robotics launched the S600 as its Embodied Intelligence Development Platform in December 2025, with mass production following in the first quarter of 2026. It runs the RDK robot OS with ROS 2 support and carries the same on-device LLM and VLM toolchain as the S100, so models prototyped on the smaller kit port upward. Key Benefits
560 TOPS on-robot: flagship-tier inference for perception and multimodal models. Six camera inputs: built for surround sensing and sensor fusion. Wide expansion: four PCIe 3.0 slots and six USB 3.0 ports. Shared toolchain: same RDK software stack as the S100 for easy scale-up.
Applications
Humanoid robot development, autonomous mobile robots and AGVs, multi-camera perception stacks, robotic manipulation with vision-language models, warehouse and logistics automation, and embodied AI research platforms.
