The NVIDIA Jetson AGX Thor Developer Kit is the most powerful edge AI development platform ever released by NVIDIA, built around the new Jetson T5000 system-on-module featuring the Blackwell GPU architecture. Delivering 2,070 TFLOPS of FP4 AI performance — over 7.5× the compute of Jetson AGX Orin — the Thor Developer Kit is purpose-built for humanoid robotics, autonomous machines, and physical AI workloads that demand real-time multi-modal perception, reasoning, and control at the edge.
At the heart of the kit is the T5000 SoM: a 14-core Arm Neoverse-V3AE CPU paired with a Blackwell GPU sporting 2,560 CUDA cores and 96 fifth-generation Tensor Cores with Multi-Instance GPU (MIG) support across 10 TPCs. The 128GB of LPDDR5X memory on a 256-bit bus at 273 GB/s provides the bandwidth to run large vision-language models, multi-sensor fusion pipelines, and reinforcement learning policies entirely on-device. Four 25GbE lanes via QSFP28 and a dedicated 5GbE RJ45 port ensure high-throughput connectivity for sensor data ingestion and fleet orchestration.
The developer kit ships with everything needed to start prototyping: the T5000 module with active heatsink, a reference carrier board with QSFP28, HDMI 2.0b, DisplayPort 1.4a, dual USB 3.2, CAN bus headers, and JTAG debug, plus a pre-installed 1TB NVMe SSD and WiFi 6E module. NVIDIA's software stack — Isaac for robotics, Metropolis for visual AI, and Holoscan for sensor processing — runs natively, enabling developers to move from simulation to deployment on a single hardware platform. The kit is available for pre-order at $3,499 through NVIDIA's distribution partners including Seeed Studio, Arrow, and RS Online.
Humanoid and industrial robotics development, autonomous mobile robot (AMR) perception and control, multi-camera AI vision pipelines, sensor fusion and real-time SLAM, edge LLM and VLM inference, physical AI research and prototyping.
