Overview
ECS returned to COMPUTEX 2026 with a LIVA mini PC line-up explicitly aimed at AI-adjacent workloads rather than thin-client duty. The range covers four distinct integration profiles, so a single vendor relationship can serve a socket-upgradeable controller, a low-power NPU box, a sealed fanless node and a palm-sized signage player.
The LIVA Z11 PLUS is the volume workhorse: four Intel Core Ultra options spanning Meteor Lake (125H/155H) and Arrow-class (225H/255H) silicon, up to 96 GB of DDR5, dual M.2 NVMe bays, dual Ethernet and a quad-4K display path through HDMI and USB Type-C DisplayPort. At 114.4 mm square and 120 W, it fits kiosk, medical and edge-node enclosures where a rack server would never go. ECS demonstrated it running a local private knowledge base and a hemodialysis simulation with FHIR data handling - both examples of on-premises inference where sensitive data cannot leave the site.
Around it sit the LIVA Z15 PLUS on Intel's Wildcat Lake platform with an integrated NPU for AI-assisted commercial workloads, the LIVA One H810 on the LGA1851 socket for buyers who want to select or upgrade the CPU, the fanless low-power LIVA Z4F for embedded installations, and the LIVA Q4 with 45 W USB Type-C input for space-constrained mounting.
Key Benefits
Four form-factor tiers let one vendor cover socket-upgradeable, NPU-accelerated, fanless and ultra-compact slots. Up to 96 GB DDR5 and dual NVMe in a 114 mm chassis supports local model caching and private knowledge bases. Dual Ethernet plus 2x USB4 40 Gbps gives 40 Gbps peripherals and network redundancy in one box. 120 W and 45 W USB-C power options simplify deployment where only low-voltage DC is available.
Applications
Edge AI inference nodes, private on-premises knowledge bases and RAG appliances, healthcare data collection and FHIR gateways, smart retail kiosks, digital signage, industrial HMI controllers and embedded machine-control PCs.
