Overview
The ASUS NUC 16 Pro is a 0.7-litre mini PC built on Intel Core Ultra Series 3 silicon, with a unified CPU, GPU and NPU architecture that reaches up to 180 platform TOPS. That is nearly double its predecessor, and it moves the NUC form factor from a browsing-and-office device into territory where local model training and inference become practical.
The AI budget splits across an Intel Arc B390 integrated GPU with 12 Xe cores, 128 vector engines and eight ray-tracing units using Intel XMX acceleration, plus an NPU 5 delivering 50 dedicated TOPS. Intel vPro features on selected SKUs add the remote manageability that fleet deployments require.
ASUS positions the NUC 16 Pro for AI-driven enterprises rather than consumers, and ships ASUS AI SuperBuild, an interface for training and customising large language models locally so agents run on-premises and sensitive data never leaves the building. Memory support spans up to 64GB of soldered LPDDR5X-8533 for bandwidth-sensitive inference or up to 128GB of DDR5-7200 CSO-DIMM on supported models for capacity-heavy multi-model serving.
The chassis is toolless, VESA-mountable, fed by a 150W adapter, and tested to MIL-STD-810H for heat, cold, humidity and shock — so it can leave the office and live in a factory, laboratory or kiosk. Dual Intel 2.5GbE, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0 and Thunderbolt 4 cover connectivity, and a 3-year warranty matches enterprise procurement cycles. QS Compute quotes single units through to fleet quantities.
