Overview
The Advantech AIR-055 is a fanless multimodal vision AI edge system built on the Qualcomm Dragonwing IQ-9075 processor. It pairs an edge NPU rated up to 100 TOPS dense (200 TOPS sparse) with 36 GB of LPDDR5 memory, enough headroom to run several vision models concurrently at the point of capture.
Unlike a conventional industrial box PC, the AIR-055 is engineered around camera ingest: it supports up to 16 concurrent cameras and integrates multimedia processing with the AI pipeline so detection, tracking and OCR run locally with low latency instead of streaming raw video to the cloud.
