Overview
The Advantech AFE-A503 is the system-level robotic controller in Advantech's Qualcomm Dragonwing IQ9 family. It packages the IQ-9075 processor with the I/O a robot cell actually needs: four Gigabit Ethernet ports, four USB ports, two CAN FD buses, 16-bit digital I/O and support for up to eight GMSL camera links.
It is designed for vision-guided robotics — autonomous mobile robots, manipulators and machine tending — where camera data, motion bus traffic and inference run on one controller rather than several boxes.
Key Benefits
One controller for vision and motion. Eight GMSL camera inputs and dual CAN FD sit on the same IQ-9075 platform that runs up to 100 TOPS of inference. Rugged thermal envelope. Fanless operation from −20 °C to +55 °C. Robot-ready I/O. 4 GbE, 4 USB, 2 COM and 16-bit DIO cover the common cell wiring without extra modules.
Applications
Autonomous mobile robots, industrial manipulators, machine tending and pick-and-place cells, and inspection robots that need camera capture plus motion control in one controller.
