Overview
The Intel Xeon 6726P-B is the top of the Xeon 6 SoC stack (Granite Rapids-D): 42 cores at a 2.30 GHz base and 2.90 GHz all-core turbo within a 235 W envelope. It is the soldered-BGA alternative to the socketed 6700P parts for platforms that must ship as a fixed, validated configuration.
The integrated 200G Ethernet MAC/PHY block is the defining feature of the -B SKUs: carrier and appliance vendors build the uplink directly into the board instead of allocating a PCIe slot and a 20-30 W budget to a discrete NIC.
Quad-channel DDR5-6400 keeps memory bandwidth high enough for vRAN L1 offload, DPI and inline AI inference, and the 32 PCIe 5.0 lanes are enough for a pair of accelerators, NVMe storage and a switch ASIC on the same board.
Key Benefits
42 cores / 235 W: the densest Granite Rapids-D SKU. On-die 200G Ethernet: removes a discrete NIC from the BOM. DDR5-6400 quad-channel: headroom for inline DPI and vRAN L1.
Applications
High-density edge servers, 5G vRAN and MEC platforms, carrier-grade firewall/DPI appliances, disaggregated storage controllers, edge AI inference clusters and communications equipment with long embedded lifecycles.
