The Intel Xeon 6505P is a Performance-core (P-core) SKU from the 6500P series of Intel Xeon 6 — the Granite Rapids-SP generation built on the Intel 3 process and the LGA4710 (Socket E2) platform. 12 cores and 24 threads with 48 MB of L3 cache sit behind a 2.2 GHz base / 4.1 GHz max turbo clock envelope at a 150 W TDP, so it slots into the same 1U and 2U thermal budgets as the previous Xeon Scalable generation while lifting per-core IPC and memory bandwidth.
