The SC836BA-R920B is the mainstream dual-processor 3U storage chassis of the Supermicro SC836 series, sized for E-ATX server boards and sixteen hot-swap 3.5" drives.
The 920 W 1+1 redundant Platinum supply matches the power envelope of a fully populated 16-drive node running dual Xeon Scalable or EPYC processors, and the hot-swap middle fan wall lets a failed fan be replaced without taking the node offline.
