Overview
The InWin IW-RG650A is the mainstream member of InWin's 6.5U GPU chassis family — a 19-inch rackmount enclosure whose 4.5U upper chamber is dedicated entirely to full-length accelerator cards while motherboard, DIMMs, storage and the power cage live in a separate 2U lower chamber.
With 18 full-height full-length PCIe slots and four Gen4 x16 riser cables supplied as standard, the chassis accepts the multi-GPU topologies that AI training and HPC clusters depend on, including four-way and eight-way builds using 12V-2x6 auxiliary GPU power. The 4.5U chamber clears cards up to 360 mm long, so modern double-width and triple-slot accelerators fit without modification.
Cooling is handled by nine hot-swappable 80 x 38 mm PWM fans rated at 12,000 RPM mounted across the front of the GPU chamber, and the whole platform is powered by a pre-installed 3200 W 80 PLUS Titanium CRPS supply with a 1+1 CRPS power distribution board. Tool-less 28-inch ball-bearing rails, a front-panel USB 3.0 pair and a 22.55 kg chassis-only weight keep deployment and servicing straightforward.
