Overview

The Chenbro SR215 is a 20-inch short-depth tower enclosure aimed at the segment between a desktop workstation case and a full-depth rack server. It accepts standard ATX and micro ATX motherboards, which keeps the bill of materials conventional while delivering server-grade cooling, redundant power and hot-swap storage expansion.

Unlike fixed workstation chassis, the SR215 is designed around optional modules. A four-drive 3.5-inch internal HDD module with its own 80 x 38 mm fan can be added for bulk storage, or swapped for a four-bay external hot-swap module when drives must be serviced without opening the enclosure. Chenbro's SK628 2.5-inch NVMe hot-swap kit adds flash capacity on the same platform.

Cooling runs front-to-back with two 80 mm PWM fans at the front and two at the rear, and the chassis supports either a 1200 W ATX power supply or an 800 W 1+1 CRPS pair when redundancy is required. Eight full-height expansion slots leave room for GPUs, NICs or capture cards without resorting to risers.

The SR215 completes Chenbro's SR-series AI tower enclosures alongside the SR113 and SR115, giving integrators a consistent pedestal platform from entry configurations up to multi-drive storage builds.
