Overview

An edge AI computer in a control cabinet needs a power supply that is designed for the cabinet, not for a bench. PULS builds DIN-rail supplies for exactly that environment, and the DIMENSION-series CP20 and CP10 units cover the two rails that industrial edge hardware most often needs: 24V for PLCs, sensors and most panel PCs, and 48V for PoE injectors, telecom equipment and 48V-native compute.

Output headroom is generous and adjustable. The CP20.241 delivers 24 to 28 Vdc at 20 A down to 17.1 A, for 480 W; the CP20.481 delivers 48 to 56 Vdc at 10 A down to 8.6 A, likewise 480 W; and the CP10.241 delivers 24 to 28 Vdc at 10 A down to 8.6 A for 240 W. All three accept AC 100 to 240 V with a -15%/+10% window, or DC 110 to 300 V within ± 20%, which makes them usable on DC microgrids and battery-backed rails as well as mains.

The electrical details matter in dense cabinets. Power-factor correction is active at 0.98 on the CP20 units, inrush current limitation is active, and a 20% Power Boost provides headroom for the load peaks that come with motors, radios and disk spin-up. Above +60°C the units derate at 12.5 W per °C, so thermal budgeting inside a sealed enclosure is predictable rather than a surprise.

Mechanically the CP20 and CP10 share a 48 x 124 x 127 mm body — roughly two DIN-rail modules wide — at 830 to 835 g for the 480 W units and 660 g for the 240 W unit. PULS fills out the rest of a cabinet's power architecture with DC/DC converters, buffer modules, DC-UPS units, redundancy modules and electronic circuit breakers, so a redundant or battery-backed supply can be assembled from one vendor.

QS Compute sources PULS DIN-rail supplies alongside the edge AI computers, panel PCs and industrial networking they power.

Key Benefits

24V and 48V rails from one family — covers PLC, sensor, PoE and 48V-native compute loads. Adjustable output — 24-28 V or 48-56 V for line-drop compensation. Active PFC at 0.98 with inrush limitation, suited to dense cabinets. 20% Power Boost headroom for load peaks. Narrow 48 mm body — two DIN-rail modules wide. One-vendor power architecture with DC-UPS, buffer, redundancy and circuit-breaker modules.

Applications

Edge AI and vision cabinets · industrial panel PCs and HMIs · PoE camera and sensor networks on 48V · PLC and control-panel 24V rails · DC microgrid and battery-backed installations · redundant industrial power architectures
