Overview
Navitas announced a 12 kW power supply unit for hyperscale AI data centers, targeting rack power densities around 120 kW. It extends a Navitas AI power roadmap that began with a 2.7 kW common redundant power supply and progressed through 3.2 kW and 4.5 kW CRPS designs.
The supply is built on Navitas GaN power-stage technology; Navitas has also collaborated with NVIDIA on an 800 V high-voltage DC architecture for next-generation AI data centers. Higher per-PSU power reduces the number of units and shelves needed per rack as AI compute density rises.
Key Benefits
12 kW per PSU · targets 120 kW rack densities · GaN power stages · aligned with 800 VDC AI rack architecture · continues Navitas' CRPS power roadmap.
Applications
Hyperscale AI data center power shelves, high-density AI rack power delivery, 800 VDC architecture deployments, and next-generation server PSU design.
