Overview
The STMicroelectronics VG5761 is an automotive global-shutter image sensor designed for ADAS and machine-vision cameras that must work in high-contrast and near-infrared lighting.
Its 3.2 um GS-HDR pixel reaches up to 98 dB linear dynamic range with on-chip background subtraction, while full pixel encapsulation delivers high MTF and low crosstalk in the near infrared. Two optical formats are offered: 1.6 MP at 75 fps in 1/3 inch and 2.3 MP at 60 fps in 1/2.5 inch.
Key Benefits
98 dB linear HDR in a global-shutter pixel. High NIR sensitivity for active-illumination systems. AEC-Q100 grade 2 automotive qualification with MIPI CSI-2 output
Applications
ADAS and in-cabin monitoring cameras; autonomous vehicle perception; industrial machine vision with NIR illumination; traffic, tolling and surveillance systems.
