Overview
The LUCID ASX053S-WC is a short-wave infrared GigE Vision camera built around the Sony IMX992 InGaAs global-shutter sensor. It delivers 5.2 MP (2560 × 2048) images at 119.6 fps over a 10GigE link, in a compact body with an M12 Ethernet connector and a C-mount lens interface.
SWIR imaging sees through materials that stop visible light and is sensitive to water content, surface chemistry and subsurface defects — which is why the ASX series is used for inspecting produce, sorting plastics, and characterising semiconductor and photovoltaic wafers.
Key Benefits
InGaAs SWIR sensitivity extends inspection beyond the visible band; global shutter freezes fast-moving product without distortion; 10GigE sustains full-resolution full-rate streaming over standard cabling; a standard C-mount accepts a wide range of SWIR-corrected lenses.
Applications
Food and agricultural quality inspection, plastic and glass recycling sorting, semiconductor and PV wafer metrology, moisture and contamination detection, and industrial process monitoring.
