Overview
The JAI Spark SP-12401C-PGE is a 12.4 MP colour GigE Vision camera built on the Sony Pregius IMX304 imager. It delivers 4088 × 3000 pixels at up to 9.3 fps over a single GigE link with Power over Ethernet.
The IMX304 is a 1.1-inch global-shutter Pregius sensor, which is the combination most industrial inspection lines want: 12 MP of detail without the motion artefacts a rolling shutter produces, and enough sensitivity to run on ordinary LED line lighting. Region-of-interest readout trades field of view for frame rate when a part occupies only part of the sensor.
