The Basler ace 2 a2A4096-9gcBAS pairs a 1-inch Sony IMX267 global-shutter sensor with GigE Vision output: 8.9 megapixels at 9 frames per second over one Ethernet cable that also carries power. The global shutter freezes moving parts without rolling-shutter skew, and the 3.45 um pixel pitch makes the 1-inch format a good match for longer working distances in inspection, measurement and parcel-sorting cells. Basler's ace 2 firmware layer adds the usual gigE feature set — sequencer, chunk data and PTP-friendly triggering.
