Overview
The Basler ace 2 a2A1920-160umBAS is a compact USB 3.0 machine-vision camera using the monochrome Sony IMX392 global-shutter CMOS sensor. It captures 2.3 MP (1920 x 1200) at up to 160 fps with a 1/2.3-inch optical format and 3.45 um pixels, in a 29 x 29 mm box housing with a C-mount lens interface.
Interfaces include a USB 3.0 SuperSpeed data connection, one opto-coupled input and two general-purpose I/O lines, and the camera runs from approximately 2.8 W at 5 VDC. USB3 Vision and GenICam conformity plus the Basler pylon 6.0+ SDK (Windows/Linux/macOS) make it straightforward to integrate into machine-vision and industrial inspection systems needing a fast, low-cost global-shutter camera.
