Overview

The SINTRONES VBOX-3631 series is the companion in-vehicle computer to the VBOX-3650, built on Intel Core Series 3 processors (Wildcat Lake) with a built-in NPU. Where the 3650 leads on Panther Lake compute, the 3631 targets the next tier down: enough integrated AI acceleration for camera-based driver monitoring, vehicle telematics with vision and peripheral control, at a lower bill of materials than the flagship part.

The chassis is a rugged fanless design with vehicle-ready M12 connectivity on the M12X variant, and the power stage accepts a wide 9V to 60V DC input with ignition control — the standard requirement for everything from 12V passenger vehicles through 24V trucks to 48V and higher bus and rail supplies. Multi-display support is included, which covers driver-facing and passenger-facing screens from one unit, and E-Mark certification clears it for automotive EMC requirements.

SINTRONES announced the VBOX-3631 series on 29 May 2026 as part of the same in-vehicle push that also brought the VBOX-3650 and the EN 50155-compliant VBOX-3132, SBOX-2625 and RBOX-1001-M12X into mass production.
