Overview
The NEXCOM MARS400 T10-05 is a modular robot controller that consolidates three functions that have historically lived on separate platforms: AI inference, motion control, and functional safety. At its core is the NVIDIA Jetson T5000 system-on-module with a 2560-core Blackwell GPU, 96 fifth-generation Tensor Cores and a 14-core Arm Neoverse CPU, delivering up to 2070 FP4 TFLOPS with 128GB of LPDDR5X and a 1TB NVMe SSD.
NEXCOM's own functional-safety system, ESC210, is integrated into the same chassis alongside the robot motion-control system and an EtherCAT master. That matters because the classic humanoid architecture splits perception, planning, motion and safety across several boards connected by real-time buses, and the resulting latency and packaging overhead directly limits how fluid and how compact a robot can be. Combining them lets the controller run NVIDIA Isaac ROS and CUDA-accelerated robotics models with motion and safety in the same real-time envelope.
The controller is aimed squarely at humanoid development. NEXCOM reports the platform supporting full-body control with more than 41 degrees of freedom and autonomous navigation without bespoke system integration, with the package sized for a robot chassis rather than a cabinet. Power is a 24-48V DC input, and the unit carries four GbE LAN ports, four USB 3.2 ports and HDMI for development and service access.
Key Benefits
2070 FP4 TFLOPS of Jetson Thor inference plus motion control and SIL functional safety on one board, ESC210 safety system with EtherCAT master integrated, 128GB LPDDR5X and 1TB NVMe so large robot foundation models run on-platform, Isaac ROS and CUDA robotics libraries supported, and a modular 24-48V design that cuts the space and latency cost of multi-platform robot architectures.
Applications
Humanoid robots and bipedal platforms, collaborative and industrial robotic arms, autonomous mobile robots, AGV and AMR fleets, and any real-time robotic system needing safety-rated motion control plus on-board generative AI.
