Overview

The Neousys NRU-150-FT Series is a fanless NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX edge AI computer engineered specifically for sealed-enclosure, conduction-cooled deployment. Its signature flattop heatsink removes heat by conduction rather than airflow, letting the system run reliably inside dustproof, waterproof, or flameproof cabinets — a design that makes it a standout for metal processing, food processing, smart agriculture, and roadside applications where dust, metal particles, or fluids are present.

Two camera-connectivity variants address distinct vision workflows. The NRU-154PoE-FT features four 2.5GbE PoE+ ports for direct connection to IP and industrial GigE cameras, while the NRU-156U3-FT offers six USB 3.2 ports for industrial USB3 cameras. Both provide full-bandwidth data paths crucial to edge inspection, AI-based factory automation, and environmental monitoring.

The system delivers up to 100 TOPS of AI inference from the Jetson Orin NX (8GB or 16GB LPDDR5), bundled with JetPack 5.1. Additional I/O includes 1× RS-232, 1× isolated RS-485, an isolated CAN 2.0 port, and isolated digital I/O (2 DI + 4 DO). It operates fanless from -25°C to 60°C without throttling at 60°C in 20W TDP mode, and integrates an M.2 2242 M-key NVMe slot for BSP and data storage. Ordering variants include NRU-154-JON8, NRU-154-JON16, NRU-156-JON8, and NRU-156-JON16 with pre-installed system images.
